In Good Hands: Our Family’s Tale of Sri Lanka Discovery

点评：We are about to finish our almost three-week adventure in Sri Lanka. Our family of four – me, my wife and our two daughters (8 and 12 years old) – were recommended Lanka Safe Tours for putting the itinerary and take care of the journey itself. We are happy we used the recommendation and we could only pass the recommendation forward. The itinerary was very well compiled, the company has prepared the recommended itinerary for our family, it also addressed all our requests and wishes we had to it, during the trip we felt very safe and cared for (this, in my view, was greatly contributed by our drivers Pansilu and Kavishan), and the trip was educational and entertaining: during the tour we visited main archeological sites such as the ones in Anuradhapura city, Polonnaruwa city, various temples, UNESCO sites, we also went for three different safaris, climbed the Sigiriya rock, hiked in Nuwaraeliya mountains, enjoyed cultural shows and local life.
We would like also to give special praise to our drivers in this tour – Pansilu and Kavishan. Pansilu was our driver for the first part of our journey (for the first six days) and Kavishan took care of us during the remaining part of our journey. We could only say good words about these two drivers – both of them are very caring, attentive and prioritizing the needs of travelers. If you have a tour accompanied by any of them, rest assured – you are in good hands.
It also happens so that both of them are originally from Nuwaraeliya, so hiking, sightseeing and social exploring there with them is an extra “bonus” (at that time we were accomponied by Kavishan and it was really great to see a local person’s perspective, I am sure, it would be similar with Pansilu too).
As an example of dedication we can share a story where we have left our raincoats in the train going from Nuwaraeliya to Ella and Kavishan drove and ran to catch the train to recover our raincoats – and, even to my surprise, he did that successfully.
