Thanks to Kingfisher Journeys for an unforgettable vacation in Rwanda!

点评：My U.S.- based travel agency used Kingfisher Journeys as the local tour operator for my recent trip to Rwanda. My trip was absolutely fantastic! They put together an itinerary that revolved around my desire to visit all of Rwanda's national parks. The park visits were exactly what I'd hoped for, as I saw lots of wildlife. Plus, the itinerary included some extra activities that I hadn't considered but thoroughly enjoyed - visiting the King's Palace Museum in Nyanza and kayaking on Lake Kivu.
I've taken guided tours before, but always with at least one other person. So, I was a little concerned that it might be awkward spending an entire week alone with my guide/driver, e.g., what if we ran out of things to talk about? It turns out, I had nothing to worry about! Sharif and I hit it off right away, and we spent hours talking about our common interests in movies, music, and birds. Aside from being kind, courteous, punctual, and funny, Sharif is an excellent guide and birder, and an all-around wonderful person!
In addition to Sharif, I was very happy with the guides I had at King's Palace, for my kayaking tour of Lake Kivu, and for the hikes in the national parks. My accommodations were a nice mix of upscale hotels in towns and rustic lodging in/near the parks. Regardless of the type of accommodation, the food was always delicious - and there was always too much of it!
I fell in love with the Rwandan people and countryside. I would happily visit Rwanda again, and I will definitely use Kingfisher Journeys on my next trip!
