Worth the visit.
The Cacaxtla Archeological Site的点评
点评：One of the most impressive and most accessible sites of pre-Columbian murals. Most of the murals are open to viewing, some are not. The entire complex is under a metal roof so it is shaded and reasonably comfortable.
Practical issues: 1. Driving, access, and parking. Do not pay attention to google maps final few steps. That would lead you into a zone wherein private cars are actually not permitted. Arrive and park on the larger street in town. Given that one reviewer noted that they were deliberately parked in for extortion money, park your car in a way that you can't be blocked in by a single car.
2. Currently (Feb 2024) the hiking pack to nearby Xochitecatl is closed.
3. The hours of operation are still unclear. Googlemap say Tues-Sun, the official INAH website says Wed-Sun, the sign at the entrance says Mon-Sun.
