Doha Exhibition and Convention Center的点评
点评：The DECC is a nice facility and hosts a number of regular events throughout the year. The building has a very cool and modern design.
The first time we visited was not that pleasant and was for a ticketing dispute during the 2022 World Cup but this time we attended and enjoyed the Doha International Book Fair and enjoyed our visit much more. There were many vendors, cafes and local attractions mixed in. The many ministries of Qatar and countries within the region had excellent booths and there were many interactive exhibits that we enjoyed. My wife like the Qatar National Library and the National Museum of Qatar booths the most. The book fair was a book lovers delight with publishers from all over the world.
The DECC is located very close to the DECC metro station and City Centre Mall. Parking in the area can be tricky when events are on so we took an Uber in and the metro out of the area.
The staff and security here are excellent and now both events we have attended have had no cost. We spent a couple of hours here but could easily spend more if there were more booths that interested us. We will be back again at the DECC for the next event.
