点评:I’ve always enjoyed my time at Zoombezi Bay and have been a loyal season pass holder. However, my experience yesterday was incredibly upsetting and honestly, quite humiliating.
During the routine bag check, security found a small, broken speaker in my bag. I wasn’t even aware it was in there, but once it was identified, we threw it away immediately without issue. A few minutes after entering the park, I was approached—more like chased down—by around five security guards demanding to know where I had put the speaker. I calmly explained that I had discarded it in the trash can near the front entrance.
Despite my cooperation, they insisted on searching my bags again right there in front of everyone. Of course, they didn’t find anything—because there was nothing to find. The way the situation was handled made me feel like a criminal over something as minor as a broken speaker. It was embarrassing, unnecessary, and felt completely disproportionate.
As someone who has supported this park for years, I’ve never been treated like this before. I understand the need for rules and safety, but there are far more respectful and professional ways to handle situations like this.
Because of this experience, I will not be renewing my season pass, and I will be sharing what happened with others. What should’ve been a fun day turned into a deeply uncomfortable experience, and that’s not something I’ll easily forget.
