East Somerset Railway的点评
点评：I first visited the East Somerset Railway when I booked a stay via Air BnB to stay at the East Somerset Railway huts. Your stay there includes 2 adult rover tickets for the line. This year I returned for a longer stay and enjoyed 2 days on the train. The line is 2.5 miles long so relatively short but there is so much to see at the station, you can easily spend an afternoon there.
The Station Cafe is a must do as well. I enjoyed a deluxe hot chocolate and then had cheese scones for lunch the next day. There is a wide selection to choose from and you take items onto the train as well.
There are events that can be pre-booked such as Sunday lunch or afternoon teas. I didn’t have these on my visit as I already had a ticket as part of my accommodation stay.
ESR is one of my favourites and I’m already planning a trip back next year.
