Great Exhibit, Puzzling Staff Interaction

点评:This is a smaller Museum located on the beautiful Washington University Danforth Campus. Pay Parking is available in the nearby underground parking garage.
We saw a great exhibit on St. Louis titled
“Design Agendas: Modern Architecture in St. Louis, 1930s–1970s”.
The exhibit provided great insight to changes in St. Louis looking at the social economic impact on its citizens. The exhibit was a 5, however interaction with the staff was very puzzling and led to the lower score.
As I was discussing a particular picture/chart on the wall with someone in my group I pointed toward the specific area with a small piece of paper in my hand. I was shocked when a roving staff member instructed me to “stop gesturing with paper in my hand”. I wasn’t close to touching anyone or anything and was dumbfounded at her request. I still don’t know what was going on in her head and why she said those words in that manner, but I felt disrespected with that interaction.
I appreciate the museum having this exhibit in St. Louis.
I had been to this museum before and did not have issues.
