Perhaps a little worn down but a nice family day out

点评：I somewhat agree that Beale Wildlife Park is perhaps a little worn down in comparison to other local wildlife parks/zoos but for a family day out, it fits the purpose and I think young children would enjoy. It was also pretty affordable for entry.
There's still plenty to do and see and you also get a free train journey around the park. There were several different animals we haven't see elsewhere and we particularly enjoyed seeing the highland cattle, Scottish wildcats and Artic Fox.
It's a fairly easy wildlife park to walk around, it's pretty flat but it did take a while to get my bearings as you're told to take a photo of the map.
A downside would be the restaurant but it might have been down to the half-term holidays as there were only two people working the tills and it took a while to be served.
