Great Experience at La Cofradía Distillery

点评：Our tour of the La Cofradía distillery was absolutely incredible, and that is largely thanks to our phenomenal guide, Joel.
If you want an authentic look into the world of tequila, Cofradía is the place to go. Having grown up right there in the town of Tequila, Joel’s passion and deep-rooted connection to the culture shine through immediately. He’s been learning the ins and outs of the craft since grade school and even interned locally, meaning his knowledge isn't just memorized facts, it’s a lifetime of firsthand expertise.
A few highlights from our experience:
Seamlessly Bilingual: Joel is completely fluent in both English and Spanish, making the tour accessible, engaging, and smooth for everyone.
True Hospitality: He has a natural warmth and is incredibly good with people, making us feel welcome from the second the tour started.
In-Depth Learning: We walked away with a massive appreciation for how La Cofradía creates their tequila. Joel broke down the different types of tequila and, most importantly, taught us the proper ways to drink and appreciate them.
We learned so much and had a fantastic time doing it. We cannot recommend La Cofradía and Joel highly enough! 10/10 would recommend again.
