点评：I can't think of any Town Hall Square in Spain that overlooks the river. Glorieta is probably the only one. This is the legacy of the Arabs - their alcazar used to stand here. Interestingly, the cathedral square -Plaza Belluga is located across the building. The Episcopal Palace goes both ways. The statue of Cardinal Belluga is also located on Glorieta, although the neighboring square is named after him. The ensemble of the square was formed just during the reign of the cardinal in the XVIII century, during the economic boom of Murcia. The new Baroque-Rococo episcopal palace and the new city Hall building became the dominants of the square. In the middle of the XIX century, a new one was built on the site of this town hall, which we have the pleasure to see now. At the end of the century, the neo-Bulgarian building of the Victoria Hotel was built. After that, nothing was built on the square, only it was constantly renamed. The constant change of the monarchy to the republic led to a corresponding change of names. The current pompous name is left over from the Francoist dictatorship. Since it is quite neutral (which of the Spaniards is against the glory of Spain?) They left it as it was...
