Very nice boat

点评：Reviewing the whole trip I’m giving Archipel 1 four stars but this is five for the boat and the excellent crew and three for the guide.
The boat was very clean and comfortable, our cabin had everything we needed and we were very happy with it.
The food was very plentiful, varied and good quality. Filtered water was always available.
The bar could have done with a bit more choice, especially in soft drinks. Not everyone likes coke!!!
The crew were excellent and very helpful.
However the guide clearly had her own agenda, didn’t interact with the guests and had absolutely no idea of health and safety!! When my husband was washed onto the rocks by waves, badly cutting his leg, (guide was in the panga) we were very lucky to have a nurse as a fellow passenger who offered first aid using her own kit, and she probably saved our trip from disaster. Our guide snorkelled with us for the first few trips but then stayed in the panga with the driver, so we had no one to guide us. This wasn’t quite what we have experienced on other trips and not what we expected.
Overall we enjoyed our trip on Archipel 1 and would recommend the boat, though I would agree with previous reviews that ours was not exactly the 8 day trip that we booked. The first and last days are half days and the ‘changeover’ day half way through was a waste of a day really, which upset most of the guests.
