Nice grounds , very rude staff

点评：My girlfriend, her sister and I visited on March 29, 2025. I have a nice camera and lenses that I brought with me to take pictures of the grounds as well as the people I was with. Casual photos, nothing being done professional.
I was approached by 2 separate employees of Bryn Athyn that told me I couldn’t take and photos and I needed to have a permit if taking pictures as part of a photo shoot. We told them what we were doing and they replied very rudely. We moved onto another section, away from where the first altercation happened and after a couple pictures of my girlfriends sister on the terrace, we were approached by another employee and again we were spoken to very rudely. We walked away and I swear it was like they were following us to leave. We did leave the grounds. We were there about 30 minutes in total and I won’t be back. The experience left a bad taste in my mouth. It’s a shame as the grounds seemed very nice.
So if you go and want to take pictures. Don’t bring your good camera without photo authorization. You will be singled out!
