点评：This is definitely a fun venue and there is lots to see here. Unfortunately, we had jumped up to the giant concrete slab known as the Interstate to pick up treats and gas. As the sun was beginning to set, unfortunately, on Route 66, you need to make some time choices. We pulled in, looked around, and headed down the highway taking in as much of the two lane legacy as we could find. In this area, some of it is simply the frontage road, be we went many miles between the mandatory interstate interludes. We have been taking 3 day trips on the Mother Road, breaking up into manageable pieces while on vacation or visiting friends. People have asked us about driving the entire road. We are not sure you could even simply drive it in two weeks; some parts are not marked well and travel at night is not great in others. So, our strategy is to do what many of the people along the route said and chop it up into pieces. Once we have completed it, we will probably take a month and deep dive our most favorite parts before some of them are gone. Uranus is one of most fun places and the most enduring along the route regardless if you just stop for a photo opportunity or dig into it and see the mastery of showmanship.
