Beautiful, clear blue waters that feed into Broken Bow Lake
Lower Mountain Fork River的点评
点评：Recently spent a few days around Beaver's Bend State Park which includes Broken Bow Lake and the Mountain Fork River which feeds clear blue water into the reservoir. During our holiday, I very much enjoyed driving along the river and seeing trout fisherman, kayakers and other holiday-makers enjoying water leisure activities around the river.
We also enjoyed a couple of of the hiking trails within the State Park that that included the Mountain Fork River. The Friends Loop Trail is around 2.5 km in length and includes a nice stretch along one of the streams that feeds into the river. This is a nice trail for scenery and you can walk along the river stream, seeing fresh water run fairly rapidly in between numerous clear water pools.
Another very good trail is the Cedar Bluff loop trail. This is a much shorter in distance but is at a higher vantage point, includes elevated viewpoints over the Mountain Fork River that are remarkable. Would highly recommend and specifically target to repeat the next time in this area of the State.
