点评：Super unprofessional and traumatic experience as the guide harassed me constantly when I did the canyoneering on 27 Nov 2025 morning - guide Jojie constantly asked me if I liked him back because he liked me back, and if I would be his girlfriend/let him be my boyfriend. As I was travelling solo as a woman and had read about people coming back from Kawasan canyoneering with serious injuries, I kept giving vague answers until we finished the canyoneering as I was afraid he would be upset if I rejected him upfront and not guide me through it. When we finished the dangerous canyoneering part and I rejected him explicitly, he said it was just a joke since I rejected him but that he was not happy.
In addition, there were times when my knees and back hit the rocks when he instructed me to jump off the rocks or lie back on the water, which could have easily turned out to be serious injuries. When I tipped him 100 pesos at the end, which I have been told by locals is the usual tip amount for canyoneering guides, he demanded another 100 pesos because of the photos he took of me. Sure, it's only a 100 pesos and I gave it to him as I did not want to deal with him anymore, but I was told the photography came as part of the canyoneering package and not an additional service and it felt disingenuous that I had to tip extra for that. Also, do not use the water shoes provided by them, as my feet were bleeding badly from being cut by them.
I guess one good thing was that he was patient in guiding me through the rocks slowly due to my bleeding feet and myopia. But considering his constant harassment, I am suspicious if it was just genuine consideration for me haha. Overall, a negative and unpleasant experience.
