点评：Our autistic young adult, who is 26 years old but has the cognitive abilities of a 5-year-old, was unfairly criticised and was told he could not sing along during the pantomime. The staff member remarked that his participation would "ruin it for everyone else," which was both discriminatory and deeply upsetting.
You can imagine how distressing it is to explain to someone with such a unique perspective on the world that they are being excluded from a joyful event. It not only spoiled the evening for us but also demonstrated a lack of understanding and sensitivity towards individuals with autism and learning disabilities.
We strongly urge you to ensure that all your staff members undergo comprehensive training on autism and learning disabilities to foster inclusion and respect for all patrons. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable and does not reflect well on your establishment.
We hope you take this matter seriously and address it promptly.
