Calicoan Island的点评
点评：Only 4 McDonald's on the entire island. Few foreigners live north of the highway from Taclocan to Guiuan, with the exception of the city of Borongan. Travel is difficult in that area due to the mediocre roads. Borongan is more modern, the coastal road from Buena Vista to Borongan is good.
The area near Guiuan is quite friendly to foreign tourists. There have been huge improvements to the road from Tacloban to Guiuan, it is now a 3 hour van ride. Many expats from New Zealand and Australia live in the area, some have nice resorts to visit. Lodging is relatively inexpensive. Surfers come to Calico-an island for the great waves coming off the Pacific ocean.
The cave near Jagnaya is quite interesting and not on Trip Advisor's list. We finally checked that out last year.
