Beautiful Path, But Safety Concerns with Aggressive Bikers

点评：We had a lovely time walking the Windham Path—it’s a beautiful, peaceful trail with stunning scenery in every direction. The atmosphere was relaxing, and everyone we encountered was friendly and courteous. It’s a wonderful spot for a leisurely stroll and spending quality time outdoors with family.
However, our experience was unfortunately marred by one serious concern: the shared use of the narrow path by both pedestrians and cyclists. We encountered an aggressive biker who sped through without slowing down and came dangerously close to hitting my 80-year-old mother. Shockingly, he then circled back and nearly collided with my 2-year-old child. When we politely asked him to slow down, he responded rudely and made it clear he believed the path was meant solely for his speed biking.
While we support shared outdoor spaces, the current setup feels unsafe. Bikes and pedestrians—especially seniors and small children—do not mix well on such a narrow trail. We strongly recommend the introduction of a pedestrian-only section or restricted bike hours to ensure safety and preserve the welcoming, peaceful experience the Windham Path is meant to provide
