A Magical Cave Waterfall Experience – Absolutely Breathtaking!
Tukad Cepung Waterfall的点评
点评：Visiting Tukad Cepung was easily one of the highlights of our Bali trip! Unlike other waterfalls, this one is hidden inside a beautiful, sunlit canyon.
The journey to get there is an adventure in itself. After buying tickets at the small wooden booth, we walked down a set of well-maintained (but somewhat steep) concrete stairs for about 15 minutes. Once at the bottom, we had to wade through knee-deep river water and navigate around some large boulders to finally reach the inner cave.
When you turn the corner and see the waterfall, it feels completely surreal. We arrived right around 9:30 AM, which was perfect because the sunbeams were shining directly through the top of the cave, creating a magical, glowing mist around the falls.
A few tips for future travelers: definitely wear water shoes or sandals with straps (leave the flip-flops at home, or they will float away!), and bring a dry bag for your phone or camera because the mist gets everything wet. Also, wear your swimsuit underneath your clothes since there aren't really changing facilities down in the canyon.
It does get a bit crowded as people line up for photos on the main boulder, but everyone was very patient and respectful. Highly recommend pairing this with a visit to the nearby Penglipuran Village!
