No Giggles At Giggleberry

点评：Since its unveiling in July 1998, Giggleberry Faire featuring the Grand Carousel has been one of the pre-eminent destinations for families "to create memories that will last a lifetime."
One of the admission packages for younger children is a reasonably priced "Giggles Pass" for $8.99 which advertises "unlimited" carousel rides. The opportunity to ride a beautifully restored carousel with 46 hand carved animals is a young child's dream. However, on the day we visited they were limiting the carousel operation to 1 ride every 20 minutes. So basically you were limited to 3 rides an hour. How does this qualify as "unlimited".
The first person I asked about the sudden change in policy tried to explain away it by saying that's how it operates on weekdays. Knowing that a month ago this wasn't true, I inquired at the desk and was told it was because they were understaffed. Why should the children be the victims of a staffing shortage? Why should customers continue to pay for less than what is advertised?
The Jamison family certainly has made enough $$$ since opening Peddlar'sVillage in 1962 to pay their employees more than $15/hrs. I'm sure birthday party customers would not be willing to continue to pay as much as $23.99/child for 3 rides/hour. They also would not be happy to receive such flimsy excuses for a less than stellar experience for their childs' special occasion.
I am hoping that the Jamison family will realize that they need to value their Giggleberry employees more than a mere $15/hr and bring the giggles back to Giggleberry!
