We hired the Classic Gaff Rigged Yacht Windsong for a week at the beginning of August. A great yacht, well laid out, well maintained, fast no very fast and lively and everything onboard for cooking, cleaning etc. Even an engine for those no wind times.
I had lots of questions before booking and Annie was unbelievably helpful, full of ideas and so knowledgeable about the craft and all of the Broad’s network recommending some brilliant places.
Just the two of us on the three-berth yacht was cosy enough. Dropping and raising the mast was easily achieved by the two of us. Everything we needed to know about Windsong and safety afloat was fully explained in the craft handover over welcome refreshments.
We did the bridges even Potter Heigham. The boards on the North East side of Potter are so different, no mad motor cruisers. We even saw the Seals of the coast at Horsey. Highly recommend going through Potter if the tides allow.
We had one slight problem, the leisure battery was not holding its charge. A quick call and Andy arranged to come out at a time and place to suit us. Good to his word a new battery was fitted that evening at Ludham while we were out dinning.
A holiday to remember. The service and attention to detail from the lovely boat yard staff, office staff, hand over team, cleaners and catering box lady was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
Would we use them again? YES. We are even considering the 3R’s with them in 2027.

我们顺利通过了所有桥梁，甚至包括波特希勒姆桥。波特希勒姆桥东北侧的那些木板结构真是与众不同啊。没有疯狂的摩托游艇。我们甚至在霍西看到了海岸警卫队的船只。如果潮汐条件允许，强烈推荐走波特航道。
我们遇到一个小问题：休闲用电的蓄电池无法保持电量。我们打了个电话后，安迪便安排在方便我们的时间和地点前来处理。他言出必行——那天晚上我们在外面用餐时，他就在卢德姆为我们更换了一块新电池。
这是一次令人难忘的假期。船坞的工作人员、办公室职员以及交接团队都提供了细致入微的服务，令人暖心。清洁人员和餐饮服务人员表现得棒极了。对他们来说，没有什么事情是办不到的。
我们还会再次聘请他们吗？当然会。我们甚至在考虑于2027年继续与3R公司合作。
