点评:Beenleigh Artisan Distillery Restaurant - not the distillery itself but the new restaurant inside the distillery
Went here for dinner with 6 other family members for a birthday dinner.
Setting and placement of table is generous and there is lots of space to move around. Menu is ok - but nothing flash or overly original but a decent selection inc staters, pizza's , fish & chips, salads, steak and pasta.
Only 2 waitstaff working that night (Thursday) and they were very busy. Service was ok, but not friendly, welcoming or engaging. Got the drinks order wrong even after checking that he had written it all down.
Food came out quickly and was a good size portion but, the quality was lacking; Caesar salad had no croutons and very little bacon or parmesan cheese.
Sirloin steak was tough, gristly and the huge chunks of cauliflower as the vegetable on the side were 'charred' ie burnt on the outside and completely raw.
Chicken dish was dry and bland even with the dukkah. Again cauliflower was served on the side and it was charred burned and raw
Burnt butter gnocchi was literally a bowl of melted butter with some small chunks of gnochhi drowning in it. Not nice at all and the bread that was served with it was not sourdough loaf but a floury flat bread that was not tasty.
Disappointing to have 5 out of the 7 meals underwhelming and not up to the standard I was expecting.

焦黄油意式面疙瘩简直就是一碗融化的黄油,里面塞满了小块的意式面疙瘩。味道一点也不好,配的面包也不是酸面包,而是那种面糊很厚的扁面包,一点也不好吃。
7 顿饭里有 5 顿都不太令人满意,没有达到我的预期,真令人失望。
