Great relocating getaway from the busy beach!

点评：We had a private tour with Nexus Tours (affiliated with Sunwing Vacations). Usually they need 8 for a group tour, but since it was just 2 of us, we opted for a private tour. Salvador picked us up at the hotel in a SUV. Most of the road (once off the highway) is very rough. I don’t think a sedan could handle it — very bumpy.
The springs are beautiful and amazing. A concierge assigns you to a private pool, drains the water when you arrive then refills with water from the springs. You can control how much water/ how warm.
Salvador prepared a fabulous lunch and snacks. Tacos and salsa (snd guacamole) at the pool and a barbecue of steak and ribs for lunch. Salvador paid for each of us to have a clay facial. We paid for massages after lunch.
The jungle setting was gorgeous and it was a fun and relaxing experience. The place wasn’t busy (even on a Saturday) and people were spaced out among the pools so you felt like you pretty much had the place to ourselves.
