Enjoyable area within Cape Range National Park
Yardie Creek的点评
点评：This is a fun place to visit at the end of the Yardie Creek Road in Cape Range National Park. There is a carpark, public toilets as well as picnic tables setup under the shade of some big trees to go along with lots of good nature, wildlife and hiking trails in the area.
The feature geological attraction is the creek which you can hike along the north side along two trails. The Yardie Nature Trail is around 1.2 km out and back, it is fairly easy and allows nice views of the creek and gorge. There is a longer, somewhat more challenging Yardie Gorge Trail that is 2km out and back. It goes further along the gorge taking up to higher vantage points. Best to have good walking shoes along with plenty of water, sunscreen and a hat for this one.
You can also do the Yardie Creek Bout Tour, reservations required. The boat trip is 2-3 times a day and around 1 hour in length, taking up of the creek while introducing you to the gorge, vegetarian bird and wildlife as well as local heritage and history as well. Lastly, there is beachfront at Yardie Creek as well if you haven't had your fill at other beaches along the Ningaloo Coastline.
We really enjoyed spending a few hours at Yardie Creek during our recent visit to Exmouth. This is a fun location within Cape Range National Park with fairly easy activities for families and people with all levels of fitness.
