Still waiting for refund of boat tour

点评：We booked three tours as a family with small children (8 and 6) - two of them private tours and hence at a really high price. We got practically no information beforehand, so I had no idea what to bring, what to expect, how to prepare my young ones.
On the day we went to Corcovado there was high tide and strong winds, meaning that boarding the boat was a very daunting experience. Especially for my 6yo, I was dragged under by a wave and hey, it happens, but again for my 6yo that was really scary. The boat ride was chippy to say the least - and again I would have liked to be able to prepare my kids for this.
Our private guide was quite nice and we saw a lot of animals - no complaints there.
The next day we were supposed to go whale watching for two hours - not a five hour tour with snorkeling. Two problem here. Of course my 6 yo declared that she she never, ever wanted to go on a boat again, so I called the Osa Great adventures to ask about the tour (for again I had no info what so ever). And found out that we were booked on a regular five hour boat tour with to Canoe Island - which I had specifically said no to.
After a lot of phone calls back and forth the man agreed to cancel and refund the payment for the boat trip.
It's been 3 months now and no refund yet. I am not happy and would never recommend this company.
And never prepay this many tours at a price of 1000 USD.
Please don't sell yourself as someone who knows about taking kids on tours, if you have no idea.
The third tour was a night tour, which was great. We liked the guide and everything. But again, I would have liked more info. The trail was right next to our hotel - that would have been nice to know and to be able to tell my children, that we would not be driving anywhere for instance.
