点评：The cruise itself was decent — clean boat, polite staff, and light snacks were fine — but the booking process is a complete scam.
I called the official Mandovi Cruises number from their website, but was redirected to a third-party agent (named Simran, but the payment in Gpay was done to the name Goa Beach Water Sports). charged ₹500 per person, even for my 5 year-old child. After paying an advance, we met Pankaj Sharma at the dock to pay the balance. He was rude and dismissive, denied that other children were allowed free (even though we saw many were), and said he’d only adjust it if Simran approved. She then stopped answering calls.
Later, we found other families who paid much less — ₹300-₹400 per person, and their kids went free.
Mandovi Cruises should seriously fix this. It’s shocking that calls from the official number are routed to agents, who overcharge and vanish later.
The sunset cruises after 6 pm is not recommended. And everything mentioned in the pamphlet is not available. Only 1 floor with loud music and lights and another floor with snacks and drinks paid of course and top for view, nothing else. The cruise is okay, but the booking process is fraudulent and ruins the entire experience.
