Third time trip with Matt and Old Mill

点评：Our recent rental from Matt and Old Mill was our third time renting through him. From the time you pull up and are greeted by Ranger the official greeter till he gets you launched and heading down the river, everything is smooth and efficient. He gave us the daily water level and told us what to expect based on the current conditions. He also gives you some interesting things to look for while out canoeing. Pick up was easy, we text him when we got to the 3 mile point and he was there to pick us up within a few minutes. The water level was at 3' and we basically floated down the river with very little paddling.
On a side note, there is a shoot off to the left about the two mile mark across from the dirt walls that takes you back to a deep cave fed spring. We didn't venture down there this time but it's worth the trip to see and enjoy the cave temperature water. Anyone looking for a trip down the Blue River should give Old Mill a try. Matt will definitely take care of you and you won't be disappointed.
