Nice Fishing - But LOTS of Rules Violated

点评：It's a petty nice place to fish, unfortunately many "fishermen" leave messes and don't clean up after themselves. Most everybody out on the pier is friendly and courteous, but there's occasionally "that person".
The pier has lots of rules such as no pets, no alcoholic drinks, no overnight camping on the pier, no bicycles, no jumping from the pier, etc. BUT - we have seen every single rule broken during our 20+ years of going to Port Aransas and fishing off of the pier. Why have rules if there is absolutely no enforcement such as someone riding up to the pay booth on a bicycle, paying then proceeding to ride their bike out on the pier.
Same with the number of rods allowed per person. I believe it's a limit of four rods per person, and we regularly see people with six, eight or even 10 rods lined preventing others from having space to fish.
We love to fish there - we just wish rules were adhered to better.
