Hellavator Escape Room - Loved it!
Clue HQ Birmingham - The Live Escape Game的点评
点评：Never done a proper escape room before, so we booked the 'Hellavator' as it was one down from the most difficult. The place was easy enough to find and managed to park in a pay & display space on the road outside, so that was a good start! Our host was Shearel and she explained the format and what to expect, without giving too much away, which was good.
We just had to fill in a couple of details and then we were straight into the room. It was really well set up, and looked like the inside of a lift, with various additions that were part of the escape.
No spoilers, so no details of the challenges etc, but it took us a few minutes to work out how to solve the first clue, but that was good as we didn't want it to be too easy. Once we'd solved the first some of the other clues were a little easier and some were as difficult, if not more so. You can ask for help from the lift panel and we did need that a couple of times, but it doesn't give it away, just guides you in the right direction. You have 1 hour allotted to you for the 'escape' and we managed it with just under 7 minutes to spare.
We visited as a family of 4 - 2 adults & 2 children aged 13 & 14 and we all really enjoyed it. It was challenging without being too difficult and there all the challenges were things that all ages could do.
Would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try an escape room, or just anyone looking for something fun to do with the family.
