Lake Chamo – Stunning Nature, but a Troubling Encounter in Arba Minch

点评：Lake Chamo is an incredible destination, full of natural beauty and wildlife. The boat ride was amazing—I got to see huge Nile crocodiles, hippos, and diverse bird species. The lake’s peaceful atmosphere and the surrounding landscapes of Nech Sar National Park make it a must-visit for nature lovers.
However, my experience in Arba Minch was disappointing. While exploring the city, four men confronted me and told me to remove my scarf because it had the Ethiopian flag on it. It was an unpleasant and unexpected situation that left me feeling uncomfortable. Later, someone with me recognized two of them and found their pictures on Facebook. To help others be aware and avoid them, I posted their photos.
Despite this, I still recommend visiting Lake Chamo for its beauty. Just be mindful of your surroundings in the city.
