点评:I was extremely disappointed with my recent shopping experience in Bardoli and Navsari. Compared to other cities, Bardoli falls far behind, and Navsari isn’t much better. Many cities in Gujarat have allowed big malls to open without considering essential facilities like parking. As a result, streets are overrun with cars, food carts, and motorbikes, creating unmanageable congestion. Bardoli especially needs multi-level parking structures every one or two kilometers to ease the chaos, allowing people to park and walk comfortably.
In addition, I found the pricing practices incredibly unfair. Many shops lack consistent pricing, and the absence of price tags means sellers often set prices based on how you look. For NRIs, this often means an added “foreigner” fee. There’s little courtesy, and sellers sometimes push products that may not meet your needs—honesty and transparency are sorely lacking.
This inconsistency makes the shopping experience frustrating and unwelcoming. For those of us who prefer not to haggle, we often end up overpaying. The entire setup feels unplanned, and the local councils seem out of touch with the needs of modern shoppers.
If you want a satisfying shopping experience, I recommend going to Surat instead. Bahadurli and Navsari don’t come close. My rating: 1 star. Or 1/2 star
