The Westfield Hornsby car park is a nightmare. I've been wrongly charged three times, even though I’ve never stayed over the 3-hour free limit. Most recently on 05/06/2025, I parked for just 2 hours and 30 minutes and was charged $35.
With cars lined up behind me at the exit, I had no choice but to pay and then contact Westfield for a refund. I provided all the evidence, but when I followed up four days later, I was told it still needed to go through three more levels of approval and would take at least 10 business days.
This is clearly a fault in their system, but customers are the ones left to deal with the stress and waste of time. Completely unacceptable.
Advice to others: If this happens to you, don’t pay at the gate—insist on speaking to someone immediately. Their refund process is slow, frustrating, and full of red tape.
