点评：This was a spectacular experience. From the initial encounter with Noah in the Warmun Helispirit office on the way into Purnululu National Park, through to our post-flight chat with our wonderful pilot Jamie, it couldn't have been better. It was a very significant personal moment for me as my dad died while instructing in a helicopter for the RAF when I was only 2. I'm 63 and had never flown in a helicopter before. I shared this information with Jamie before our flight, as I was anxious about my possible reaction once up in the air. My husband wanted me to sit up front for the best view, but this involved a re-balance of weight. Jamie returned to the office to clear the alteration and Michael was brought on board too, to add ballast as well as further expertise! It was all handled smoothly and professionally, no fuss, no bother, just kindness and consideration. The actual flight turned out to be pure joy. Jamie skillfully navigated the 42 minute route whilst sharing in-depth knowledge about the geological formation of this beautiful place, and its spiritual significance to the people who have been its custodians for more than 20,000 years. We noted but maintained a respectful distance from points of cultural importance, such as burial or coming of age sites. The views were fantastic and the area we covered allowed us a real overview of the vast landscape with all its variations. I could have spent all day up there and the experience helped me to understand my dad's passion for flying helicopters. He was with me in spirit for this trip and I have Helispirit - and especially Jamie - to thank for that.
