A blissful day in the French countryside with Bella

点评：Delphine said we were her first American customers, and I hope that changes IMMEDIATELY! My boyfriend and I were in the area for a couple days, and we booked a half-day donkey rental. Delphine walked us through some donkey facts, and how to care for donkeys, presented us with a variety of walk-lengths to choose from, and helped us get started.
After that, we were set loose in the idyllic French countryside with Bella, a donkey who does indeed have "a personality." She was a perfect donkey, in that she had a big attitude and was adorable.
It was a beautiful day for a walk, and one of my favorite things was that we passed by several cow pastures. The cows were SO curious about the donkey, and they would run along the fence to get a good look as we went by.
Afterwards, we followed Delphine back to her farm to meet the rest of her rowdy donkey herd. It was such a lovely experience, and really unique. I'm so glad we went, and I would happily go again!
The only reason we didn't do a group tour was that our timing didn't work, and if I came back I would love to have Delphine be our tour guide!
