Wonderful People. Rooms need updating desperately!

点评：I just returned from a 2 week trip with my 16 year old daughter. I can understand why this resort might be considered a 5 star with the amazing employees and abundance of drinks. I have vacationed in Cuba every year for the past 11 years and I have never seen such beautiful white powder sand and the ocean is the most vivid aqua blue I have ever seen.
Staff is incredible. Always going above in everything they do. Especially David at the lobby bar! I enjoyed a cappuccino at the coffee train every morning while listening to the live music.
Breakfast at the buffet was the best meal of the day. Fresh egg stations every day, fresh churros, bread, bacon….
The Biergarten was wonderful and we loved having lunch there.
The buffet was great for having freshly prepared food but it was the exact same items everyday. Never had a problem getting salt, pepper, ketchup or mayo.
We had 4 a la carts and the first 2 we could have skipped…they were traditional Cuban food. The Romantic & Italian were great.
Drinks (alcoholic & non alcoholic) were always wonderful and the most selection that I have ever seen in Cuba.
They have a beautiful tennis & basketball court as well as 2 pool tables and a ping pong table but we never used them because it was too hot.
There was a disco at 11 but we didn’t go to that either….we’re early risers.
The shows at 9:30 in the theatre were pretty good.
Pool is amazing, the workers keep everything so beautiful.
Never had any problems getting towels or exchanging towels.
The bad:
The buffet restaurant was quite hot especially at lunch and there were obviously flies and bugs on the food because it is an open air buffet.
OUR ROOM UGH!!!! We were in 6115 which was close to everything but it was just gross, shower head kept flipping up and spraying all over, air conditioning never worked, all of our clothing and bedding were always damp and started to smell bad because nothing ever dried in that room. Sliding door didn’t lock. I did ask the front desk about it but they said there wasn’t anything they could do about it because the entire resort was having difficulty with the a/c. Beds were hard and the blankets felt like sandpaper against the skin. The blow dryer worked…sometimes. There were tiny bugs all over the walls (not sure what they were). Most of the outlets in our room didn’t work.
That being said, the housekeeper was wonderful as was the person who replaced the beer and water. We always had plenty of water and beer in our room.
I would only return to the resort if i booked an upgraded room (not sure if the luxury rooms are more updated) or if I was in the premium section.

他们有一个漂亮的网球场和篮球场，还有 2 张台球桌和一张乒乓球桌，但我们从来没有用过，因为天气太热。
晚上 11 点有迪斯科舞会，但我们也没有去……我们起得很早。

拿毛巾或换毛巾从来没有遇到过任何问题。
