NC Pottery Highway
North Carolina Pottery Highway的点评
点评：Having lived near Seagrove most of my life I can't help but smile at the spelling
Sea Grove. The pottery Highway (705) is a wonderful day trip, you will get an
opportunity to see lots of beautiful handmade pieces that will decorate your home.
Most of the pottery I own, is used daily. Don't be afraid to use the bowls, plates and casserole dishes you buy. My favorites are my serving platters and soup bowls.
While you will see many potters along the Pottery Highway, many, many more are
located at homes or off the main roads. Yes, food options are limited in Seagrove but
down 705 approx 12 miles you will come to Westmore Family Restaurant, then a few
more miles down 705 you come to the Kitchen 221. Both serve mostly southern food and both are quite good if you like that kind of food. No we don't have any fast food options in Seagrove, you need to go to Asheboro for that. Seagrove proper has the Seagrove Family Restaurant and Fresh Cuts. Fresh Cuts is basically a grocery store, but part of it is blocked off for a small restaurant. Again, mostly southern food is served at both and I think both are quite good. I realize not everyone is looking for fried chicken or catfish, but you an find a good burger or hot dog at most of these locations too. I really don't think you will starve during your trip down the NC Pottery Highway.
