Escape Lounge - T2的点评
点评：We booked the Escape Lounge at T2, after a good experience on our 1st visit in September 2025. So on the 4th September this year we went again before our afternoon flight to Gran Canaria. There was a large queue at reception, which went down very quickly as those in front of us were denied entry. We were pointed towards the lounge area, and upon arriving could not find an empty table, as the lounge was rammed. We walked around and eventually found a table, still with its dirty glasses on it. My wife took a seat and I headed to the bar. Joined a large queue to get drinks. Could see only two staff members serving. This then went down to one ?
After a couple of minutes other staff appeared, and the queue moved. Due to a medical condition I was advised not to drink Alcohol prior to or while flying. However there are NO Alcohol FREE beers available, and the only soft drinks are sugar free. So I settled for a pint of Manchester Pale Ale (3.4%) and made it last. I returned to our table and sat down. When I stood to go to the food area, my trousers stuck to the seat, and it was then that I saw the chewing gum that had been stuck on the seat, and transferred to me. The food selection was nothing exciting but we managed to get a few things to eat. I was aware that the majority of people in the lounge were there to get drunk, and I watched groups just seeing how many drinks they could get. down their necks. Saw two ladies pouring wine into their own water bottles, I assume to take on their flight.
So would I use this lounge again, NO. Would I recommend it to family and friends NO.
