点评：A nice hike. Bring good shoes for rocky terrain!
We loved the views, hearing happy birds all around us, being surprised by flowers flowers and lichens, seeing many types of cactuses and beautiful native trees.
Right next to the trailhead is Echo Bonaire: Prople and Parrots. If you plan a few days ahead, you can make a reservation for a tour of their parrot refuge on a Saturday morning , and learn about the endangered native parrots, the rehabilitation program for injured parrots and the habitat restoration underway in the area. You can meet some parrots up-close too! And then go on your Dos Pos trail hike.
When you are done with your hike at Dos Pos, you can also stop for a wonderful meal of local food and amazing views (and even a playground!) at a restaurant just down the road called Pasadas.
Any combination of these activities I would recommend for active singles, couples or families.
