Went to clarks 30 January
At size 6 stand noticed on the shoes it says size 6, 39/5. I have size 6 and it always fits me as size 6 or 39. shoes were big when tried on.
I wasn't sure ab the confusing size so I asked if they have size 6, 39. It's strange for me as it was always 6 (39) in any shop all my life.
Problem is woman sale assistant attitude. From the moment she brought the shoes out she looked intimidating, almost raising her voice when i asked if it is 6 or 6 and 1/2. Zero customer service skills. Conversation lasted 3 min max. During which i felt she will start raising her voice with me. She was looking at me without blinking. Angry. Kept asking do i want it or no. Said 6 is always size 39/5 not 39.
I came home and still feel upset as it was no reason to be so intimidating. So I checked online as its really news for me, as all my life i never had problem asking for size 6 (or 39 ) and never sales assistant had to tell me its 2 different sizes.
After checking online turned out Clarks shoe size 6 is typically labeled as EU 39.5 or 39½ because they use a specific, slightly modified sizing scale, where a UK size 6 generally maps to an EU 39.5, rather than the standard EU 39.
So this woman could simply mention that it is ONLY clarks using specific to them size, and not look at me like i am crazy to say that size 6 usually for me is also size 39.
Just because of this woman's attitude and zero customer service skills or I would even say lack of simple normal human interaction ability, I will never go inside this shop.

就因为这位女士的态度和她毫无服务意识，或者说缺乏基本的沟通能力，我以后再也不会踏进这家店一步。
