Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary的点评
点评：Monkeyland is undoubtedly one of the must-do attractions in the Plettenberg Bay area. We had previously visited its KZN counterpart years ago and were excited to experience its older, southern cousin.
Situated on the same grounds as Birds of Eden, you can choose between a single entry or a combo ticket. It’s certainly not inexpensive — and unfortunately there’s no South African resident discount — so for two adults and one child it’s a significant outlay. That said, the experience is unique and very well executed.
Visits are guided, and in our case it felt almost like a private tour as no other guests arrived at the same time. Andy was excellent — informative without ever being boring — and he handled our son’s many questions with patience and humour.
The walk itself is a gentle, scenic hour through the forest reserve, culminating at the suspension bridge. Along the way we saw plenty of monkeys (and lemurs!) — more than enough to warrant the high price tag.
A memorable, well-run experience and one that’s definitely worth considering when visiting Plett.
