点评：My experience at San Ignacio with Baja Ecotours was shared with a small group when the author of The Lagoon, James Dorsey, was there for about a week in mid March 2026. We were guided on our border crossing into 2 small planes. The whole trip was well worth the price. It was a stunning, remote, breath taking location. We closely encountered gray whales during many trips out into the bay with expert small panga (small boat) drivers and guides.
The staff who interpreted much of what we encountered turned into not only experts but dear, trusted friends. All of the staff was a friendly family. The plentiful food was great. The cabins and facilities were immaculately clean and precious. I have travelled Mexico and Baja extensively and this was a peak experience to treasure forever.
