Water quality…BEWARE OF THE SEWAGE!!

点评：So tragic. This is a wonderful beach and we’ve enjoyed coming here frequently for many years. However, BEWARE OF THE SEWAGE - 7 times out of 10, we’ve not paddled in the water and we’ve certainly not let our dog go in the sea. Regularly, we see brown frothy sewage on the waters edge. Earlier this year there was an absolutely disgusting raft of thick, lumpy sewage along the whole length of the beach and it went out about 6 metres into the sea. There appears to be no signage giving the daily water conditions and no obvious website giving up to date conditions.
On a ‘clean’ day, it’s great for families, lots of space, very flat sandy beach and lifeguards during high season. Lovely ice cream, loads of parking and, if you’re lucky, dolphins can quite often be spotted.
However, more often than not it’s disgusting and a definite health hazard for children.
Plenty of other lovely and reliably clean beaches to visit. Such a shame.
