点评:During my last visit to Bolivia-this year,2024- I booked a flight from Rurrenabaque to La Paz for May 27th with Diego at the Trinidad office of Missional Tours.The airline was Boliviana de Aerolineas-BoA......A few days later I received a text from Diego informing me that the flight was cancelled.However,BoA gave me the alternative of flying with Ecojet on the same day,May 27th.I accepted.On the morning of May 27th I discovered at the airport in Rurrenabaque that that flight had also been cancelled.I ended up travelling by road to La Paz.
That evening I contacted Diego informing him of the situation and he promised to make contact with BoA the next day as that day-May 27th-was a holiday.Since then I have heard nothing from Missional Tours.
In La Paz I visited the offices of BoA to enquire about my refund and was informed that any refund would be paid to the agency that made the booking-in this case Missional Tours....Has Diego contacted BoA with regard to my refund?I do not know....Has BoA refunded the cost of the flight on my behalf to Missional Tours in Trinidad?I do not know....If BoA HAS refunded the cost of the flight what has happened to the money?I do not know....What I DO know is that for two months now I have had no communication whatsoever from Missional Tours regarding this matter,either from Diego at the Trinidad office or from David at the office in Santa CruzThe last communication I had was from Diego on May 27th-two months ago as today is July 26th.
I am very disappointed with Missional Tours,especially in view of the fact that during the month of May this yearI spent over 3000 US Dollars on excursions with Missional Tours in the Santa Cruz/Trinidad area.I would have thought that that would have earned me some measure of respect.It would appear not to be so.When I am next in Bolivia I will avoid Misional Tours as I am very dissatisfied with the way I have been treated.
