点评：We were recommended the tour operator and DMC El Tucán Campeche by Hotel Don Gustavo in Campeche for a trip to Mérida. Unfortunately, our experience with the owner and driver, Jorge Escobedo, was extremely disappointing and concerning.
I explained to Mr. Escobedo that my daughter was ill and dehydrated, and that we needed to make a quick stop to buy something before the trip. Despite knowing this, he dropped us off three blocks away from the place, even though he could have taken us closer.
When we returned to the vehicle, I was shocked to find that my daughter was left in a closed car under extreme heat (over 38°C/100°F) without air conditioning. She was visibly worse sweating cold and clearly suffering. His explanation? He turned off the A/C to save fuel.
What kind of responsible or humane person does that — especially after being told about the health condition of a child? I immediately told him we would not continue the trip with him.
This was an inexcusable lack of empathy, professionalism, and basic human decency. He prioritized saving fuel over a child’s health, putting her life at risk. This company clearly cares only about money, not about the well-being or safety of their passengers.
Do not use this service. It’s unsafe, irresponsible, and operated by someone who showed no concern for human life.
