点评：In the past Aix Les Bains has become well known for its astonishingly beautiful natural setting and divine vibes, has unfortunately got totally spoiled by reckless human activities:
- Endless haphazard and careless constructions. The town cannot effords so many cars, inhabitants, dogs… The city government still inactive and can’t foresee the future collaps of city.
- Air pollution: The air here especially during winter tastes like burnt plastic through cars, Residential heating (wood, coals?)
- Extreme noise pollution through construction, traffic and so many dogs
- Dogs: Everywhere dogs: At the lake, in the forest, in parks, at the beach, in lakes water, in streets, in restaurants… This is a crazy development in last 10 years. You can’t feel safe, you can’t relax…
I cannot recommend visiting Aix Les Bains to anyone anymore, except hard core devotees, who are ready to sacrifice their hearing ability, ear health, personal comfort and expectations for natural & architectural beauty.
