点评:A great 2 and a half hours spent visiting the stadium celebrating its 28th birthday, in addition to attend a very interesting history lesson of Bolton Wanderers thank you to an enthusiastic fan of the club and tour guide Paul Holliday from Burnden Park era to the last 28 years - a great club that deserves to be back competing with the big boys one day.
It was great because he showed all guests to see the unusual, useful and interesting parts of such as gantry, press room, kit room, matchday control room and podcast studio, dressing rooms as well as hospitality rooms named after legends with historic reasons behind each of them. Very interesting about the reasons behind the difference in changing rooms for home and away teams. One of thr very few stadiums to have 2 separate tunnels.
What a great surprise to speak and have a photo opportunity with a club legend from the Premier League era John McGinlay as he made an great amount of effort with all guests including a non Bolton fan like me.
This tour is definitely more than reasonable prices and well worth spending the money to visit whether you are a Bolton Wanderers fan or not. Also do go and visit there on a matchday as I've done it a couple of tines and enjoyed it each time from Premier League all the way down to League One. Definitely one of the better modern stadiums post 1992, only born in 1997 as is very easy to access for car parking and public transport.
