Nauyaca Waterfalls的点评
点评：Falls are great but some other stuff, not so much. First, there is a ticket office for falls and a place called Nauyaca Falls Nature Park. They are different! This was confusing for us to figure out. Ticket office sells entry ticket for $10 pp and add ons.
We went to the ticket office by uber. Ticket woman was suspicious when we said we didn't have a car and that we wanted to walk. There must be an additional parking lot fee that she thought we were trying to get out of-I don't know why she was so unpleasant and unhelpful.
What she could have informed us of is that it's a mile walk to parking lot down a very steep "mountain" that's wet & slippery in spots. AND, that we would then have to walk UP that at the end of the day. Seriously--think climbing a ladder for a mile in the heat!
Also from parking lot, it's not too far in distance to falls, less than 2 miles, but portions of it are mud--sticky, thick mud that pulls off your shoes type of mud! In places you'll walk along a ledge, to keep from sinking into knee deep mud, that if you slip on, you're going down into the jungle.
Pretty dangerous hiking we weren't prepared for--made it--but would have appreciated a heads up about the conditions and would have done the shuttle to falls entrance or taken a horse...
At falls, we saw middle-to-older aged men, who looked pretty out of shape in their slippery struggles to climb, trying to climb falls to jump. Wow. When you see stories about stupid things tourists do, this seemed to be one.
Falls are quite spectacular though!

这次徒步相当危险，我们之前没有做好准备——不过还是坚持下来了——但如果事先知道路况，就更希望乘坐班车或者骑马前往瀑布入口……
在瀑布边，我们看到一些中老年男子，他们看起来身体状况很差，在湿滑的路面上艰难地攀爬，试图爬上瀑布往下跳。哇！当你看到关于游客愚蠢行为的故事时，这似乎就是其中之一。
不过瀑布真的很壮观！
