点评:Did the gorge walk in reverse because I was unsure as to where to corss to pickup the gorge trail. The start of the gorge walk requires you to cross the river and depending on flow this can be challenging as it was when I visited. Also the point to cross could be better marked. I opted to try and cross further upstream from waterhole and kept going in essence doing gorge walk in reverse. I would not recommend this unless a seasoned hiker. Rocks in the river walk were very slippy when wet as they were on the day I hiked. Had to scramble high up on the sides holding onto trees to move forward safely. Also had to swim one section 10 meters with bag held above my head. Would be great fun on a 25 degree day but not much fun on a showery cool day as I encountered. When I reached the top of the gorge, the trail head was really hard to pickup and very poorly signed. when I did eventually find was a steep walk up and the walk itself retained a fair bit of water on the surface. Flora was beautiful with grass trees and some really nice pink berried bushes. This could be much better in terms of signage and gorge walk should not be attempted either way unless a serious hiker (climber).
