Cuckmere Haven的点评
点评：Train from London to Brighton, then train to Seaford. Enjoyed that trip and the walk through Seaford to the beach. The walk to Cuckmere Haven was strenuous up the hill but with plenty of rest stops that gave me a chance to look back towards Seaford and enjoy that view. Easy walk from there to Cuckmere Haven and it was a spectacular view all the way. So beautiful. Walking along the river to the visitors centre was quite tricky as it was in muddy clay. Glad I was wearing hiking boots. I dropped down the embankment to walk in the long grass where others had worn a trail. A massive surprise and delighted to see an adder sun baking on top of the grass. Stunning dark orange and black markings. Great cafe and souvenirs at the Saltmarsh Farm complex. Planned to catch bus back to Seaford station but realised the bus went to Brighton, so stayed on enjoyed that ride along the coast and then walking the Lanes in Brighton on way back to train station.
