Orangutan Houseboat Tour的点评
点评：Wow, what a tour. We had a crew of four on our boat, and there were four of us as guests. The boat wasn’t huge, but we had the entire upper deck to ourselves, which made it feel spacious and private. The crew—our tour guide, deckhand, captain, and cook—were all exceptional.
We saw an incredible range of wildlife, including orangutans, gibbons, and proboscis monkeys. The food was fantastic: three full meals a day, plus generous snacks and drinks. While the boat didn’t serve alcohol, we brought our own. You can also purchase some from Fardi before departure.
Sleeping arrangements were on the top deck, which the crew set up each night after dinner. It was surprisingly comfortable. We usually turned in around 9 p.m., especially on mornings when we were up at sunrise—around 5:30 a.m.
One tip: bring your own soap for the shower. We ended up using handwash soap, which worked fine, but proper soap would’ve been better.
Depending on the boat you have, it might be worth while leaving your luggage with Fardi so pack some clothes and amenities in your carry on.
Power on the boat for charging is dependent on solar, so if you have some cloudy days, you might not have the chance to charge your devices, so take a power bank.
